Exhort 72 – Powerful Prayer for Today

This powerful prayer for today invites gratitude, faith, and confidence as you step into a new day guided by God’s presence.

1. Dear God,
   with a heart full of gratitude,
   I come before You today,
   celebrating the gift
   of this new day.
2. This is the day
   You have made,
   and I choose to rejoice
   and be glad in it,
   no matter what comes my way.
3. I trust in Your unfailing love
   and Your enduring mercy,
   knowing that goodness
   and mercy
   follow me
   all the days of my life.
4. Your steadfast love
   never ceases.
   It renews each morning,
   and great
   is Your faithfulness.
5. I place my plans
   and my thoughts
   into Your loving hands,
   confident that You
   order my steps
   and guide my path.
6. Your grace,
   Your peace,
   and Your protection
   are with me always,
   and this truth
   fills my heart
   with calm assurance.
7. I surrender my fears
   and my worries
   to You,
   knowing You are greater
   than anything
   I may face today.
8. You are my refuge
   and my strength,
   my present help
   in times of need.
9. Lead me
   in paths of righteousness
   for Your name’s sake,
   and let Your word
   be a lamp to my feet
   and a light to my path.
10. Fill my heart with confidence
    that You are working
    all things together
    for my good.
11. Holy Spirit,
    I invite You
    to fill this day
    with Your presence.
12. Guide me
    in every decision,
    and help me walk
    by faith
    and not by sight.
13. I stand firm in Your truth,
    knowing nothing
    can separate me
    from Your love.
14. When I feel weak
    or uncertain,
    I trust in You
    with all my heart,
    for there is no one
    like You.
15. Protect me
    from distractions
    and discouragement,
    and let Your Spirit
    guide all that I do.
16. Thank You, Father,
    for hearing my prayer.
    By Your grace,
    I step into today
    with victory.
