Exhortation #83
When your heart aches for your daughter’s healing, this prayer invites God’s mercy, restoring power, and peace to surround your family.
- Dear God,
I thank You
that I can come to You
as a loving parent
with a trembling heart. - Thank You for my life
and my family.
Thank You
for hearing me
even in my fear. - I come before You
carrying my daughter
in my prayers.
She is precious to me,
and even more precious
to You. - I admit, Lord,
I feel helpless.
I wish I could take
her illness away. - I place her
into Your hands.
I surrender
what I cannot control. - Have mercy on us
for any ways
my actions, choices,
or unseen burdens
may have contributed
to this moment.
Cleanse our path, Lord.
Let nothing hinder
the flow of healing. - Touch my daughter, God.
Restore her body.
Heal her mind.
Strengthen her blood,
her bones,
her spirit. - Speak to this illness
and command it to leave.
It has no authority
over her life. - Cover her
with Your protection.
Let this season
not steal her joy,
her future,
or her destiny. - Strengthen her spirit
with Your Holy Spirit, Lord.
Lift her heart.
Let hope rise within her
even on difficult days. - Bless the hands
of those caring for her.
Guide the doctors.
Sharpen their wisdom.
Lead every decision
with Your truth. - Surround her
with goodness and mercy.
Let her life
be a testimony
of Your favor
and faithfulness. - Calm our hearts, Lord.
Quiet our racing thoughts.
Give us peace
that surpasses understanding
so we can stand strong
for her. - I trust You
are working
even now.
Let Your light
funnel healing to her
without interference. - I trust Your love
is holding
all of us. - May You be glorified
in her healing,
in her future,
and in all that unfolds. - Thank You, God,
for Your healing,
and for loving my daughter
more than I ever could.
