Exhortation #81
When you or someone you love is traveling, this prayer invites divine protection, peace, and safe passage—covering every step of the journey with God’s presence, goodness, and mercy.
- Almighty God,
Creator of the heavens,
the earth,
and the deep seas, - I begin with a heart
full of praise
for Your presence
that knows no borders
and Your love
that spans every horizon. - Thank You
for the gift of journeying
and for the wisdom,
technology,
and hands
that allow us
to move across
Your vast creation. - Today,
I lift up myself
and every loved one
who is in transit—
whether we travel
by land,
by air,
by rail,
or by sea. - Be our invisible Pilot
in the skies,
the steady Hand
upon every wheel,
the Guide
upon every track,
and the Guardian
upon every body of water. - Command Your holy angels
to surround us,
forming a hedge of protection
that no harm,
no malfunction,
and no unforeseen danger
can breach. - Lord,
I ask for Your mercy
over our journeys.
Forgive any errors
in judgment
we have made,
and protect us
from the consequences
of haste,
fatigue,
or distraction. - I ask for healing
across our lineage—
break any generational patterns
of accidents,
mishaps,
or fear
that may have followed
our travels
in the past. - Shine Your light
upon the road ahead,
giving us clarity
where things are hidden
and wisdom
to move
in perfect alignment
with Your timing. - I thank You
in advance
for The Great Exchange—
that even when a moment
appears uncertain,
You are already
turning it
into a blessing. - Transform every delay
into divine protection,
every detour
into safety,
and every worry
into a testimony
of Your deliverance. - Let Your Holy Spirit
rest upon our minds,
replacing anxiety
with a peace
that surpasses
all understanding. - Grant us favor
with every person
we encounter—
from officials
to strangers—
let kindness
walk beside us
wherever we go. - For moments of waiting,
whether on the road
or at home,
quiet our hearts
and remind us
that we are never
outside
of Your care. - I declare in faith
that Your goodness
and mercy
follow us
through every terminal,
down every road,
and across every mile. - Bring us safely
to our destinations,
and in Your perfect time,
return us home
in peace
and joy. - Thank You,
Divine Source,
for being our refuge,
our shield,
and our constant Companion
in every journey
of life. - Our trust
is in You
completely. - In the powerful
and loving name
of Jesus Christ,
we pray.
Amen.
