Exhort 67 – A Poem of Gratitude to God

This poem of gratitude reflects on creation, daily blessings, and the quiet miracles that fill our lives. Let it guide your heart into thanksgiving and awe.

1. Lord, we gather
   with hearts full of grace,
   to acknowledge the blessings
   that life does embrace.
2. In moments of plenty,
   in whispers of peace,
   gratitude flows
   as our joys never cease.
3. Our bodies, O God,
   by Your hand are designed—
   in workings unseen,
   Your wisdom we find.
4. Organs unbidden
   tick on in their core,
   nature’s great ballet,
   an unyielding force.
5. Miracles woven
   through days and through nights,
   in lives of loved ones,
   in wondrous sights—
6. events unforeseen,
   divine and profound.
   In awe we stand
   where Your grace is found.
7. The earth spins its dance
   in rhythm so true,
   a stage upon which
   we wander and view.
8. Though we have no say
   in its cosmic sway,
   we roam unbound—
   free to live and to play.
9. Plans that we make
   often stray from their path,
   yet we walk proudly
   with knowledge we hath.
10. In humility, Lord,
    let us learn to see
    life’s twists and turns
    bring wisdom to be.
11. Comfort surrounds us
    in all that we wear,
    in food and technology—
    treasures we share.
12. Crafted by hands
    of others so skilled,
    in generosity
    our lives are filled.
13. With thankful hearts
    we turn to Your light,
    to cherish our place
    in Your grand design.
14. Blessings uncounted,
    by You richly given—
    in gratitude we find
    our place in heaven.
