Exhort 6 – Prayer for Direction in Indecisiveness

If you are facing indecision and uncertainty,
this prayer will help you release anxiety and seek clear direction from the Divine Source.

1. When I am uncertain
   of what to do
   or which decision to make,
   who can I turn to?
   Where should I go?
   Who holds the answers I seek?
2. Naturally, anxiety arises
   as the moment for decision-making approaches.I am grateful
   for family, friends, and loved ones
   who support me during these times.
3. Sometimes they have the answers.
   Other times they don’t.
   Often, they propose multiple solutions.
   While helpful,
   this can complicate the process.
4. So I return
   to square one:
   What should I do?
   Which decision should I make?
   Who can I turn to?
   Where should I go?
5. As anxiety mounts,
   my decision-making becomes clouded.
   Irrelevant information swirls.
   Stress increases.
   Doubt and frustration
   whirl within me. This is not where I should be.
6. A moment of clarity emerges:
   Who created everything?
   What is the Source of it all?
7. I will turn to God
   for Divine guidance.
8. But first,
   I reflect on past experiences. Who has guided me through before?
   Who keeps everything running smoothly
   within me
   and around me?
9. God.
10. My heart swells with joy
    and gratitude.
    For I know
    the best answers I seek
    come from the Divine.
11. They always have.
    Moments like this
    serve as reminders.
12. I ask for a sound mind.
    For balance.
    For objectivity.
    For a body open
    to Divine guidance.
13. I pray for signs,
    for assistance,
    for help.
14. By grace,
    they are provided to me
    in divine order,
    in accordance with God’s will.
15. I ask for the ability
    to recognize the signs
    when they arrive.
16. With a deep breath,
    I sigh.
    I know the situation
    is ultimately resolved
    in my favor.
17. I place my trust
    in God.
    I find rest.
    I release tension
    and unnecessary energy.
18. Though I began in confusion,
    I now conclude in gratitude.
19. I am thankful
    for the recurring realization
    that the Divine Source
    is the provider of all answers
    best suited for me.
