Exhort 29 – Prayer of Thanks and Praise

If your heart feels full of gratitude or you simply want to give thanks for all that is good, this prayer of thanks and praise is for you.

Grateful I am, oh God,
for the miracles
You bestow upon my life.
Your guidance
has been my compass
when I’ve sought Your help.
Generously,
You have provided
more than I could ever ask for.
I extol You
for the wondrous deeds
You have performed.
My heart swells with joy,
and I thank You
for this gift of happiness.
It is all too easy
to overlook Your presence
in the blessings
that surround us.
At this moment,
I recognize
Your divine hand at work,
and I marvel
at its magnificence.
Through the beauty of nature,
You have supported me
in countless ways.
I celebrate
Your goodness and mercy,
rejoicing in the splendor
of Your love.
Time and time again,
You have saved me
from the depths of despair
and delivered me to safety.
With a grateful heart,
I offer my praise and glory
to You, Almighty God.
From this day forth,
let gratitude and adoration
be the songs
that fill our hearts, oh Lord.
May You etch this commitment
into Your benevolent will,
so that my days
may be spent
in ceaseless praise
and appreciation
for Your grace.
